My Research Interests
During my PhD program I am focussing on the evaluation of biogeochemistry in different Earth System Models. A new data set from Biogeochemical Argo Floats is used to compare the model outputs and to investigate mechanisms and processes affecting for example the Biological Carbon Pump. Climate change increases the meaningfullness of accurately portrayed biogeochemical proccesses in models for future projections.
My previous studies include a broad background in physical oceanography and climate change.
Other Interests
I like to travel whenever I have the time and money to do so. I am fascinated by different cultures and very interested in the cuisine of different countries, which has made me a passionate cook. Further, I like to play volleyball at the beach and play board games with friends and family.
