My Research Interests

I finished my PhD in May 2017, which was focused on the impacts of anthropogenic perturbation on the global coastal ocean using the ocean modelling platform NEMO coupled to the marine biogeochemical model PISCES.

During this first post-doctorate, I contributed to the implementation of the marine biogeochemical model PISCES in a 1/4˚ North-Pacific – Arctic – North-Atlantic NEMO configuration similar to CREG (Canadian REGional) but extended to 45˚N in the North Pacific Ocean. As a first step, my current study focus on biogeochemical impacts of the Arctic connectivity with the adjacent oceans with emphasis on nitrogen cycling.

Other Interests

All ocean-related stuff like scubadiving, freediving, open-water swimming, underwater photography, travels, etc.
