Short-term forecasts for Halifax Harbour

The Marine Enviromental Modelling Group is regularly producing short term forecasts for Halifax Harbour. Currently available are forecasts for temperature and salinity. Forecasts for other properties (incl. chlorophyll, oxygen) are under development. A 10-day forecast is produced three times a week on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. For some dates, forecasts of the dispersion of a passive dye tracer, assumed to be released from Nova Scotia Power's Generation Station, are also available.
