My Research Interests

I am broadly interested in coupled physical and biochemical numerical models to understand the response of the ocean and its ecosystems to climate change. My research has focused on estimating the effects of long-term ocean environmental change on the Northwest Atlantic shelf ecosystems and local fishery. I see my work in oceanography as a good opportunity to help the conservation and awareness of our oceans, influence fisheries and ecosystem-based management, and advocate for climate change adaptation policies.

Other Interests

In my spear time, I love doing yoga, hiking, scuba diving, and exploring as much of Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada as I can.
